Dr. Amira Patel

Dr. Amira Patel is a highly qualified Consultant Neurologist and Epileptologist with advanced training in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of neurological conditions. She is now associated with Curis Life Multispeciality Clinic, Andheri West, where she provides comprehensive and personalized neurological care for patients with epilepsy, stroke, migraine, headache disorders, memory concerns, movement disorders, nerve and muscle conditions, and other neurological disorders.

She holds an MBBS and an MD in General Medicine from Government Medical College, Surat. She subsequently completed her DrNB in Neurology from Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute, Mumbai, where she underwent three years of advanced specialist training in neurology.

To further strengthen her expertise in seizure and epilepsy care, Dr. Patel pursued a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Epilepsy at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute. Her advanced training enables her to provide specialized evaluation and management for different types of seizures and complex epilepsy conditions.

Dr. Patel has expertise in neurophysiology, including the clinical interpretation and application of EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction studies (NCS). She is also trained in neurocritical care and the management of complex neurological conditions.

Alongside clinical practice, Dr. Patel is actively involved in neurological research and academics. She has authored and contributed to research publications, presented her work at national and international scientific conferences, and received multiple awards for oral research papers and scientific poster presentations.
